Minutes of Funk is a Brooklyn-based DJ who has been collecting and spinning records since he accidentally stepped foot in Betino’s Record Shop in Paris, France, an experience which brought together his background in jazz with his passion for dance culture, and set the foundation for his digging and deejaying ever since. Growing up between New Jersey, Paris, and Bogotá instilled in him a musical openness that he has continued to develop on dance floors and on the radio waves for the past few years. With an approach deeply rooted in jazz, he searches across continents and decades for sounds that inspire the body and uplift the mind.
