South London rapper Loyle Carner last week released the video to his fresh single ‘The Isle of Arran’.
The hard-hitting new cut – sampling the 60s track ’The Lord Will Make A Way’ by S.C.I Youth Choir – is a tribute to young dads and explores masculinity and fatherhood, alongside Carner’s childhood memories spending time with his grandad on ‘The Isle of Arran’.
This EP joins a collection of singles released this year (“Ain’t Nothing Changed”, “Florence”, “No CD”, and “Stars & Shards”) in anticipation of Carner’s debut album, scheduled for take off on 20th January 2017.
With the announcement of his new LP, Carner also revealed plans for a massive new UK and Ireland tour next February, including two nights at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Tickets are on sale from 26 November.
