Minutes of Funk is a Colombian-American DJ and radio show host. His foundation in jazz and funk and his passion for forward-looking club cultures form a musical approach which is constantly renewing itself while maintaining a global outlook attuned to the open-minded modern dance floor. He has brought his esoteric sound to clubs in Vancouver, London and New York City and he has hosted weekly radio shows since 2013 on Radio Free Brooklyn (New York), WPRB 103.3FM (New Jersey), Wired Radio (London) and CJSF 90.1FM (Vancouver, Canada). He also operates alongside DJ Nenim as Eko fo’ Show, a project focused on classic West African dance music, and produces radio programmes for Afropop Worldwide.
