We’re incredibly honoured to have been invited onto The Blueprint programme with legendary broadcaster Chris Philips on Jazz FM.
Chris Philips has spent 32 years on London radio stations, specialising in jazz, soul, hip hop and soulful dance music. In the mid 80s he founded ‘pirate’ soul music station Starpoint which can still be heard online. He also operated the first ever jazz radio station in the UK, London-wide K-Jazz, with renowned radio presenters Gilles Peterson and Jez Nelson. Chris moved onwards to Jazz FM 102.2 in 1990 and Kiss 100 in 1991 and national UK station theJazz in 2007 (now off air).
Chris presents Jazz FM’s daily morning shows from 10am -2pm and a specialist show dedicated to new jazz and guest interviews called The Blueprint every Saturday night from 10pm.
