Macondo Mix: Floresta

Floresta is the alias of Bonce Forrest, a West Dorset native and self-confessed mega-gringa living and digging in São Paulo. We invited her to curate a mix full of some of her favourite Brazilian Gems.

‘This mix spans the 1970s, mostly 7″s and 45s some medium rare, some well done. It was originally inspired by the pandemonium that ensues in London when the temperature rises above 30 degrees, but I think I inadvertently curated the soundtrack for a yet-to-be-made film The Brazilian Job, which I imagine to be a far sexier yet infinitely more chaotic than it’s Italian namesake.’
