This week’s premiere arrives from the latest of a new series of edits supporting charities around the world run by the mighty Banana Hill collective.
London-based producer Delonte Rivers takes on Mop Mop’s ethereal track Kamakumba with some subtle tweaks that honours the hypnotic sound of the original.
The initiative will run alongside the Banana Hill party series in Manchester which will be raising money in tandem. Each month (or so), a new edit will be released via Bandcamp and the proceeds will be donated to a selected charity. With over £320 raised for charity since the start of the year.
Proceeds are going to One Happy Family – Community Centre, Lesvos, which is built and run by refugees and for refugees.
Purchase the digital track on Bandcamp to support the project.
