The second instalment in our MACONDO series comes from Dubrunner; one of the crew behind the infamous Stretchy Dance Supply, the UK’s only workout based nightclub experience dedicated to all things high-energy.
Dubrunner has had several releases on various labels (Scuffed Records, Reel Long Overdub and Dansu Discs to name a few) and takes much of his influence from sound-system culture and UK sounds; Broken Beat, Jungle and UK Bass amongst them.
It was this mutual love for chest-rattling bass bins and the culture surrounding them that forged the bonds between the Stretchy crew, and this week Dubrunner has gone back to it’s origins and recorded a 100% Reggae mix with just under two hours of Roots and all things Dubwise.
